Adam is founder of Shadowbody, guide at Himalaya Subbody Butoh and Free Butoh School.
Ainara Makalilo (Spain)
Ainara Makalilo likes guerrilla DADA. She is part of collectives L'Atelier D, La Sangria Discreta, la Cie de TA Soeur and co-founder of the Moonwalk Project, an itinerant one-moon wild lab in nature.
Alessia Mallardo (Italy)
Psychologist (Dance Therapy) and Butoh Performer. Freelance, she is involved in social and in artistical projects working with NGOs and assisting last three years Atsushi Takenouchi’s Jinen Butoh School. She is a big promoter of Yumiko Yoshioka’s work and Noguchi Taiso.
Alex Wynne (Australia)
Alex is a Himalaya Subbody Butoh guide and videographer.
Alice Young (Russia)
Alice Young is a performer in Ukraine who recently took part in BACCHAE (Dionys!SOS!) in TEO: theaterspace (Odessa). Her project is PANDORA press which explores the interaction between plastic, visual, music and other arts through performative practices.
Alyssa Warncke (Thailand)
Alyssa Marie Warncke is a butoh-influenced artist born and raised in Bangkok. She has worked professionally as a singer/voice coach, a pianist/composer, musician/actress, performance artist, dancer and workshop leader in the experimental art, theatre and performance scene in Hamburg.
Anna Nela Styra (Germany)
Anna is a Himalaya Subbody alumni from Leipzig. Guides groups in somatics and performs self-created Butoh pieces in India and Germany. Since last year (2018) in apprenticeship for somatic work/ dance therapy.
Cilla Vee (USA)
Claire Elizabeth Barratt (aka Cilla Vee) is an inter-disciplinary artist with a performing arts background. She is the director of Cilla Vee Life Arts – an arts organization with a focus on cross-media collaboration. Her work utilizes artistic disciplines of dance, music, text, media, visual and installation art.
Coco Villarreal (Mexico)
Coco is an international Butoh performer and director of Teatro Prieto Compañía Internacional.
Donna Svazek (Netherlands)
Donna is an internaitonal performer and has been dancing Butoh since 2007. She studied under Itto Morita, Lee Rhizome, Honza Svasek and Adam Koan. Donna grew up with a fully deaf older sister, so from birth she found that sound is only a very small part of human communication, and that there is a lot more to body movement. She is interested in healing the mind through the body.

Honza is the mastermind behind Free Butoh and has a regular Butoh camp in Tumkur, India (south India). Also an alumni of Himalaya Subbody Butoh.

Julie Becton Gillum is an international butoh performer and butoh festival organizer based in North Carolina.
Ken Mai (Japan)
Ken Mai is an international Butoh performer and guide currently living in Finland. Studied directly under Kazuo Ohno. He is also a former Zen monk!

Somnambula is a 3-person troupe directed by Sharly Kornitskaya. They will perform "Under The Cortex." Somnambulu can be described as physical theatre with a great influence of Butoh and some elements of contemporary dance, clownery and pantomime.
Sonja Indianna Salkowitsch (Norway)
Sonja Indianna is a Norwegian performer, working with a mix of physical theatre and butoh. She runs her own project Pluskvamperfektum, investigating different ways to enter the abstract narrative and to materialize the stories that happen between the realities.
